Article Marketing: Is Writing Articles using Article Spinners Profitable?

Article marketing is assuming increasing importance in internet marketing and with it comes another upsurge in writing articles for article spinners. Why is it that otherwise sane people believe that software knows better than the human brain when it comes to understanding both how to write and how to understand the written word?

Professional internet marketers will rarely use article spinners as part of their article marketing strategy, and you will have to look very hard to find any spun articles on page #1 of Google. Yes, I am well aware of testimonials, but how many offer links or contact details so that you or I can ask them if they are genuine? They are worthless without that.

You are better writing articles yourself than using article spinners to generate articles from so-called synonyms, as if Google's LSI algorithm can't tell the difference between real and false synonyms from the semantics on the page. I have checked out a fair number of article spinners and have yet to find one that offers articles that actually make sense without them having to be edited.

One of the problems is that very few so-called synonyms are actually so in all contexts in which a specific word can be used. Its not just the software that has no idea of the context, because it cannot think, but also the software user similary often has no idea. When writing articles, most people use language that they understand but when they are asked to enter a number of synonyms they will get out a dictionary or thesaurus, or refer to thesaurus.com and go on to make a schoolboy howler.

On thesaurus.com there is not a single synonym for the word 'article' that could reasonable used in place of the word 'article' in the term 'article marketing'. This is not an isolated example - in fact there are thousands of them - and you would be relying on your readers not knowing the difference between one usage of a word and another - let alone software understanding that difference!

Writing articles manually is the only way to tackle article marketing the proper way, and the only way in which you have full control over the quality of your writing. I have come across articles in directories written by real people that were so bad I would never think of giving their website a visit. I dread to think how articles writen by a software program would read - well, as a matter of fact I do know because I have used spinners, and their results are grim.

It is far better for you to learn how to write articles yourself, and by doing so writing articles will offer a lot more traffic to your website or blog than an article spinner will. As far as Google PageRank is concerned, I accept that spun articles can give you an initial boost, but they don't do much for your human credibility.

By making an intelligent choice of keywords, it is possible for you to dominate these and by writing articles once a week with links to your home page and an internal page, retain high listings on Google. I am not referring to low-volume keywords here, but to those with around 2000 - 4000+ uses/month, traffic well worth having.

That is the way that I do it, and I achieve Google listings that certainly keep me happy. You can do it too by learning how to write articles without article spinners, get a decent name for yourself and use article marketing as it should be used - honestly, by providing well written articles offering good information plus the offer of more to follow by clicking to the website.
